Many years ago the Social Security System Issued TWO sets of Social Security Numbers. One number was the normal Social Security Number we use today. The other Social Security Number was for Railroad Employees. The Social Security Numbers for Railroad Employees begin with the Number 700.

The SS Card below was a Railroad Social Security Card issued in 1937.
